Indeed some of the techniques used are part of the Muay Boran repertoire, but this is not a Muay Boran fight; neither in the rules of the fight, nor in the tactics of the fighters. It is simply a Muay Thai match with rope wraps (Kaard Chuek). The only disciplines that come close to how a Muay Boran fight should be are Kudo and Lethwei. If Wrestling below the waistline was legal in Lethwei then it would be 100% a Muay Boran fight.

I practice muay thai, but is good to see how is a "real" fight with no gloves, and this is de answer: The best is throw punches and stay up, and use kness or kicks when you must use it, not every time. There is a huge difference...
