I don’t understand audiences that come to see very specific musicians, but don’t embrace their presence. Muriel is an absolute legend in her music , yet it seems she needs to cajole her audience into appreciation. She is a remarkable musician and friend m my view, a damn fine human and woman.

The problem is that the majority of people who go to concerts, whether the concert is only one musician playing whatever the instrument may be, or a symphony, the audience is very ignorant of the instruments that are being used for playing the music. They only have heard the song that is being played, or they like the musician for whatever reason. I am not an expert but I studied piano for some years, and I didn’t have a piano for many years, so now I am 77 years of age and have many issues because I have fallen down due to fainting spells. Anyway, I have been listening to wonderful pianists and other musicians, so I am getting encouraged. Also the Master of all music and instruments, YEHOVAH God, has given me the melody to verses of Scripture, and I sing acapella. Blessings of Shalom to all musicians who love to make music with the instruments they play.
