+debunkingdebunkers If you love every living thing on this planet then you are vegan for sure. Right? :)
@PoppyHapalopus9 жыл бұрын
+Martin Hrivnak And vegans complain that people call them pushy... If you love every creature, you must also realize that death is a necessary evil if we want to avoid overpopulation. You can't be kind to a population if you are against hunting. Not if you don't want the animals to starve to death. I love animals, so I will never become vegan.
@ThePimprlas9 жыл бұрын
I really tried hard but did not get what you are saying. Can you be more specific? Give examples to help me understand what you mean? Thank you in advance. I only got the last sentence and that I totally disagree with. So you kill and eat animals because you love them? Or you love animals and to prove it you kill them and eat them? Please explain.

I am a grown man, 68 years old, with family. Whenever I see this recording, this remembrance of a remarkable event, tears come to my eyes. It is not something I can easily label or explain. Perhaps I am feeling the deeper sides of connection, and wonder how we all can be so blind not to see these things every day, every moment; but rather choose to remain separate, unavailable through our busy-ness than to notice such beauty. Thank you for the reminder...

Watching your this video years ago, I was amazed and thankful you were able to witness nature at such a special moment shared it with all of us. I've kept my eyes out for such instances but only saw about 20-30 starlings UNTIL this morning (Christmas 2022). I immediately stopped my car on the side of the road, grabbed my phone and proceeded to freeze my fingers video-taping 6 wonderful minutes of hundreds/thousands of starlings!!! Your awesome video gave me a hint of what to look (or notice) for when nature decides to share a murmuration! Thank you! 65 years and I can cross off that from my bucket list!

13 yrs later, I see a video of a starling mimicking R2D2 and someone mentioned murmurations and I'm back again. 🙂 Still get the same feeling watching this, just perfection. I've seen been lucky enough to see a decent sized murmuration but not this close that you could feel and hear it. I'd love to experience that once in my life. Still living vicariously through you ladies. The only thing I've experienced in nature that gave me this exact reaction is riding down a mountain road on my bicycle at 35 mph and startling a large buck. Which for some reason decided to join me and run side by side at 30-35 mph for 10-15 seconds. That rush that just takes your breath away followed by laughter and just being in awe of what you just experienced. Wish I got it on film. Glad you were able to and share your experience with us. I'm sure I'll be back to watch this again many more times.

'Murmuration', written by Paul Manning. "I have seen folds turn within tunnels, I have touched the silken blue sky as countless artists weave grace before my very eyes. They are harmony of winds, as if each breath of tiny life is reaching out to my own spirit. Wings of divine dunes dance in myriads of haze and I see wonders that hold me speechless. Each one spins a harmonious web as if controlled by natures built-in chip. I see grace and I know that I am nothing in comparison. We are nothing because we dance alone, but not so the Starling... unity is the very life of these birds and it is so wonderful to see." (By the way, I have seen many a Murmuration, but this one tops them all, it is just superb! You were lucky to get under one just at the right moment, well done for capturing the art of nature for us all.)
