This really could be used as regeneration music. Not to discount Vale Decem, but I like to clip that audio and play this instead. The speed of the song corresponds to the regeneration process so flawlessly.

@InsertNameHere297 - Nope, although both are a variation over the chords for "I Am the Doctor". You'll hear something closer to this on the last track of the series 6 soundtrack, "The Majestic Tale (of a Madman In a Box)", but that track actually started its life in series 5 - and this, as it says in the description, is based on the Doctor Who Prom performance last year, where it was entitled "An Untimely Arrival".

@ShobogenzoX - very unlikely you could find it anywhere, except by asking Murray and/or Ben - and even then probably wishing really hard. Even Murray himself may not have the right to give it to anyone. On the other hand, he's a channel to whoever *does* own the publishing rights, and the more people ask, the more likely it is that someone will see enough demand to make it financially viable to publish something. I know I'd love to see actual, unreduced orchestral scores of Gold's stuff.

... but I also know it very rarely happens with *anyone's* music, unless he's called John Williams. May or may not be easier to get a ticket to Melbourne this February, sneak into the Plenary Hall during rehearsals, get up to Ben's podium, distract him with a toy sonic screwdriver, grab the score sheets, and run for it. ;-) Actually, have a friend in Sydney, might be easier to get him to do it. :-P

@TheOtherKaneda I see. Lots of songs from Series 5 and 6 are variations of 'I Am the Doctor', though that song itself is supposed to be a re-arrangement of 'All the Strange, Strange Creatures'.
