I certainly hope I'm not the only one that cried during this, am I? Because whenever I hear this I think back to the episode where Clara and the 12th Doctor were with a young boy. He was reading a book and Clara asked what chapter he was on and he responded "10 ma'am." In which Clara smiled at the boy and replied with something that tore my feels in half... "Oh, well 11's the best." She winked and just NYEH WHY BBC WHY MUST YOU TIG MY TWO HEARTS STRINGS WITH SUCH EMOTIONAL BONDS!?

honestly, Rose was my favorite companion for the longest time. but dang Clara is Amazing! her relationship she has with the doctor is perfect. and i love how all of the theme's of the companions as a string of their relationship with the Doctor run through it, its really quiet beautiful. :D

Very few, as it says on the webpage. Rose's Theme (very very old arrangement) is mostly playable on a single piano. There are also versions of "All the Strange Strange Creatures", "Amy's Theme" and "Don't" (the end theme from Midnight)

Thanks! :-) You should try - I don't really have any interest in solo arrangements, because I like to include all (or as many as I hear) of the orchestral lines - which doesn't tend to lend itself to single piano - although in some cases (and especially this one), it *could* easily be reduced to sound decent with one. The few times I *have* done a solo arrangement are all listed on the website.

You're absolutely free to do that ;-) I don't agree (well, it may be more "natural", but I don't think it sounds better - just more... well, natural) - and Gold has used the same progression several times, so it's what he intended - but it's not a big deal. :-) As mentioned, I took some liberties myself in the repetition of that phrase, adding the descending bass in 49-50. There's a bit of Menken/Ashman "Beauty and the Beast" in that - which is what this piece originally reminded me of.

The very title of this piece is actually kind of a spoiler - did consider that some wouldn't have seen the episodes yet. But on the other hand, the PR for the show "spoiled" it for most of us - except Moffat actually made sure the arc would work in spite of - or even *because* of - that "spoiler". (Being vague, in order to not *really* spoil it) ;-)

I don't know if this is just me, but on the 4th page, 3rd measure, it feels more natural to keep it in B minor and then switch to a minor in the 4th measure of that page.....it sounds better to IMO

Nope, just imbeciles moving the site to a different server. It may take up to 24 hours (or more) before it's available again on your end. Without getting technical, you may also get lucky by trying in a different browser or removing 3xW from the start of the address.
