Love ya Fletch. I'm from Columbus, but didn't get into the Mopar C-body thing until 4 years ago. Now I have a 67 Newport Custom, and a '65 New Yorker 6-window Town Sedan. Next trip up to Ohio next summer I'm going to put Murray's place on my list to visit. Cheers from Tampa.

@@markfletcher7244 That’s right Fletch. We did 4 across USA trips in old cars plus I did one in a Ford Torino prior to our trips, so will revert to that. I am sure Murray will prepare the 73 New Yorker very thoroughly too. 👍

Thank you Fletch, Murray et al. This episode and the previous episode remind me of the 1970s when two brothers in our street-Karori, Wellington NZ-were driving and restoring a 1957 Plymouth Fury and a similar De Soto. Both RHD cars, so presumably made in Canada. Good stuff. I gather that the 1957 Plymouth cars had serious rust problems with their tail fins.

Where do they fill the 1958 Chrysler Imperial with the Marvel Mystery Oil? Just down the cylinders through the spark plugs?

Hey Phantom, down the Oil fill as per normal - yes, in the spark plug holes as well. There's gallons of the stuff in there. Nothing a rebuild won't fix. Cheers & thanks for watching.

@@classicrestostv1fletch764 In a rear garage I have a Ford with a 351 Cleveland that hasn't been turned over in at least 25yrs. Should I fill the cylinders with Marvel Mystery Oil for a few days before trying to manually turn it over?

@@Phantoma3 - It would never hurt. It's apparently a great lubricant. Fill it, then turn over by hand a few revolutions before attempting to start. Let me know how you go. Regards Fletch 👍
