It’s heartbreaking to reflect on how the diaspora failed Musa. After traveling to the US, he was left stranded, working odd jobs just to survive, even braving the cold until he caught pneumonia. Instead of offering genuine advice or tangible support, they left him to fend for himself. In the end, it was those back home in Kenya who had to raise money to bring him back-money he had to repay by performing, even while gravely ill. The people responsible for this know who they are. Musa proudly mentioned their names in all his songs. Had he stayed in Kenya with his band, surrounded by those who truly cared, he might still be alive today. It's a painful truth that he trusted those who let him down, suffered for it, and came back only to pass away. Tragic and utterly sad.😢😢😢🎉
