The story of this concert is interesting! Shajarian was cold and a little lazy that night, so he wanted to apologize to the Audienses and postpone the concert to another time. But Homayoun asks the father to let him sing and help him. After a little hesitation, the great Shajarian trusted the son. that night Homayoun (who had previously participated in concerts as a musician with his father) sang in front of the people for the first time! Of course, he had been rehearsing with his father for many years, but he had not sung in concerts to this night! Thank you very much for this clip and the memory of the great master. Also, I am not sure if this is significant enough, but in Farsi, just like Spanish and many other languages, there are two forms of the 2nd person singular pronoun, one formal (used to address usually a figure of authority of some sort with respect) and one informal (used to address one's intimate friends and/or family members), and in this sentence, the informal form is being used. I knew i shouldnt have clicked on this, I cried so much , what a loss obviously for us, what a shame... i cant even put it into words.... obviously he lived his life to the fullest and we should celebrate his life but i guess our tears are for ourselves, for the life we never lived as great as he did.
