My toddler is almost 40lbs! Shes also tall. Picking her up has took a toll on my chest muscles. Some days like today its really tight and soo sore!

I'm dominant with my right hand but my left side looks stronger is there a way to fix that should I work out harder with my right side with more weight and less weight for the left help????

With respect to it being really heavy, don't worry about that too much ;) Babies and toddlers have a beautiful way of assisting with the hold (if they're awake). They wrap they legs around you and bear a little of their own weight that way. I always thought it was very sweet.
