I am 92yrs old, stopped being active since Covid began, and as you know, use it or lose it. I am currently working on regaining leg strength and balance. I had been living at sea level and for the last 2 yrs at an altitude of 7,300 ft. which is making it difficult to breathe and walking an effort. Hello Doctor Thank you for your valuable guidance to take care of muscle. I have A qerry, I am a male, 70 years old, two.months ego I had done open heart . Bypass surgery for 4 blocks. I am recovering without any problem. I have lost weight around 12 kgs (from 63 kgs to 49 / 50 kgs). Now I have numbness in my legs especially in the left leg. During the surgery the vein has been taken from both legs / thighs for Bypass surgery. Can I use dumble to strengthen & to build my hand muscle. Manoharan

Hi Manoharakank-ju5bv, given the time of your bypass, the 4 blocks and your age, I would not suggest that you need to do it alone. Rather, I would encourage that you would be evaluated personally to ensure your safety since I cannot see you. Look for any Physiotherapy clinic near your place, including with strengthening would be aerobic exercises, part of what we call as cardiac rehab to monitor the maximal amOunt of energy that you can exert safely.
