Yotam Gabay Well when I started I could onlydo one pull up. What I did was I bought resistance bands. I bought a XS and a S. I could do 5 pull ups with both together. What I did was I used both until I could do 12 pull ups in a row. I practiced pull ups by doing the explosively. You pull up as high as you can. After I did 12, I moved down to just the S band. Same thing, once I got to 12, I dropped to just the XS band. At this point I also practiced doing L sit pull ups. I had to use both bands at the beginning. During my training I practiced deep dips, just like a normal dip but you go as low as possible. Once I had the strength down I started doing muscle ups with both bands and just working on technique. I could only do 1 at a time, but it was just about technique. Slowly, once my technique got better I dropped the bands until I did my first one with no assistance! I HIGHLY recommend buying resistance bands. They are a MASSIVE help. By far the best fitness equipment I have ever bought, completely worth it. Overall: Explosive pull ups Technique

@@stringnerd i felt invicible too when i did new record at wide arm push ups (40) with "kinda" rest, but i had to be at push up position while doing it, also tryied pull up next day and couldnt do single one, it kinda made me feel weak as fuck. I have to train biceps and grip i guess...

A lot of people on comments are nice👌💯 but glad you making progress bro🙌🏽🙌🏽 don’t compete on others focus on yourself don’t rush. Big tip I can give you is allways allways warm up. I was hardheaded started at first now my right arm is done for. But glad you made progress it only gets better from here👏🏼and if fall out or not making progress get a Bookbag but some weight to gain more. Just make that specific thing you won’t accomplished💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 no pain no gain baby💪🏽💪🏽

Cheers man I needed this, it’s made me stop worrying about reaching a point where things are taking slightly longer to progress, or getting frustrated when things setting me back slightly, sometimes you need reminding that things don’t always happen overnight, and that you’ve just got to keep at it! (Been feeling low due to having the flu over Christmas which led to an ear/throat infection that’s meant I’ve had to take some antibiotics that’ve made me really tired and weak).

I did my first one today ^^ it was a pretty clean one... My arms were synchronised I still swinged with my legs to get momentum. I was so fucking happy :) and I still am.

INSANE! really impressive bro, i have two questions: Did you ever added some wheight to your body to workout? and what is the main method you use to get stronger at muscle ups? thank you for the motivation!

Thank you^^ Ive tried adding weights for 3 trainings about 2-3 months ago, but i got ill afterwards and since then i stick to my old training style (bodyweight only). Maybe ill do something with weights in the future :) Reps,reps and more reps. If you want youre muscle ups to be stronger you need to improve your pull up first, go for 25-30 Pull ups in one set. After youve done that try going for bigger endurance sets like the one i showed in my full day of eating or a shorter one like this: 5 Sets of 10 Pull ups + 20 Dips 5 Sets of 9 Pull ups + 18 Dips 5 Sets of 8 Pull ups + 16 Dips ... After youve improved your pull ups, try doing endurance sets with muscle ups like this one: 20 Sets of 5 Muscle ups + 5 Dips +5 Pull ups(without leaving the bar) (Use a light resistance band once you cant do a set without it) Try doing everything with clean form, thats probably the most important thing :) After doing that for a while you should be able to do 10+ clean muscle ups :)

Pen Umbra ....I can do 35 pullups bodyweight,13 pullups with a 45, 50% bodyweight for 2 pullup and still can't muscle up as much as most guys are just weak don't forget technique guys. Those were all chest to bar L-sit variants though due to where I have to train.

@@_helso Habe in der Umgebung ein wenig geschaut, jedoch gibt es dort keinen mit einer Stange.. Kurzhanteln kaufen ist ja auch eine Idee

Amazing, doing serious calisthenics for a 4 months now myself, I got first 20 muscle ups cheaty style on one day a month ago, and two days later I did my first kipping muscle up, then the form went exponentially better, now I do 5 clean muscle ups without kipping, just a bit of swing as you come back. Adding variations is also great, did my extremely close grip and wide grip two weeks ago. Now I'm training for super slow pure strength muscle ups, Hope I will get it until end of December. Anyways videos like yours keep me motivated, and I really want to thank you for that :)

You almost need to be ripped to even do muscle ups lol as it said in the beginning he trained for like 9+ months to be able to do them

No need to lift, honestly if you just do that it builds everything. I just do tons of pull-ups since my bar is inside and i have a ceiling, but im able to be really toned without doing any other workout.

Never been a fan of push and pull exercises on the same day but theoretical it would train triceps, biceps, shoulders back and chest. I prefer doing just pull ups and only on pull day thus working just back and biceps. Managing 10 rest 30sec 9, rest 30, 8 etc so 55 in 7mins will full range of motion, chin properly over the bar. Just never thought the full muscle up was a good exercise as it combines push and pull in one session.

hi hab gesehen du bist deutsch xD bin ein Lauch und genau so wie du früher mit 15 nur kein nerd :D wollte morgen anfangen aber habe keine Geräte wie dieses Gerüst was du im Garten strehen hast... gibt ees alternativen? was du als kauf empfehlen könntest für im Raum also an der Decke oder so? wäre super wenn du mir antworten könntest und wir vielleicht einbisschen kontakt aufbauen könnten das ich motiviert bleibe und bei Fehlern / Fragen dich fragen könnte? Wäre echt nice von dir bist mein Vorbild haha weiter so! Wie die bodybuilder sagen no pain no gain oder so ^^ Bin 17 Jahre alt und wiege 45 KG bin 170cm groß und habe Hanteln sowie eine Klimmzugstange wie bei dir zwischen der Tür.
