I worked my butt off for one year with weights and my thighs gained 1 1/2 inches.

I'm an apple shaped women who feared looking like a LINEBACKER. I was a bit concern, because I softball player built who didn't wanna end up like a CROSSFITTER. I have great legs and a small muscular bottom. I'm 5'5 194 41% body fat and I wanna do your program. I often struggle with weights because I assumed I had to get my body fat down FIRST, but you've program sounds like I should be doing both at the same time. I'm not afraid of lifting and I look forward to my next chapter. I ordered your 3rd edition book and can't wait to start next months. Any suggestions? I'll be super surprised if you reply to this post several years after you loaded this video.

Don’t worry… You will not come out looking like a linebacker. I have a similar body type to you, when I was quite overweight I used to describe my body shape as “filing cabinet”… perfectly rectangular, no definition at the waist, no curvature at the hip and turn sideways… Pretty much the same thing. I did the entire year of TLS One year challenge. There is now a lot less of me but my body shape is still my body shape. Now, instead of looking like a filing cabinet I tend to look more like the women that you see competing in track and field events. No, I’m not that lean… But a similar body shape. Very athletic women also tend to have less definition at the waist and a smaller hip. This is a tendency of course not written in stone. I am much happier looking this way than I was as a filing cabinet.
