Thank you so much Dr. Morton. Your videos and explanations are helping to narrow down my fiance's issues shes having. Although she's been battling many unexplained symptoms over the years, the latest one is what seems to be the loss of control of her fascia. Her skin literally falls inches in the upper neck and shoulder area, she will occasionally gag, her speech becomes impaired and she says she looses connection with her feet and they feel like they weigh 500 lbs. Her life at the moment is extremely limited, as soon as she wakes up, she has to deliberately engage the muscles by doing several sets of resistance exercise with dumb bells for 3 - 4 hours straight, then its back to laying down for 3 to 4 hours then repeat. This has been going on for 3 months now. Prior to these new symptoms, we've seen over 17 specialists over the years with no clear diagnosis. There is a degenerative issue with c1 and c2 and i'm sure nerve damage in the area but this issue is compounded with an array of other symptoms from years of non movement and muscle atrophy, possible nerve damage from benign tumor on thyroid which was removed as well. That said, I know you are not a practicing doctor and understand you will not give medical advice, so with that said, I'm asking your thoughts on who we could see to attempt to tackle this current issue and attempt to trace it to the source, root cause? Thank you so much Dr Morton.
