Well since they dont make trans am anymore that would make buying one more special. The trans am looks stout compared to the camaro. Either way the Camaro holds its own too with the SS hood looks sharp. Ive owned 3 ls1's and they are all worth the buck especially the aluminum engine. I was told the 98 ls1 is not as good as the other ls1's. I think they feel the same. The 02 comes with an ls6 intake which makes it a bit faster. As for me I am a Camaro guy.

+Noe Cazares I agree. My dad has a 98 T/A and it runs like a beast stock. And I found a 97 Camaro rs hatchback for $2,995 where I live. I'm very enthusiastic about getting it.

It runs in my family too. Two of my uncles own and owned camaros. My brother got me into them when he first bought a 2001 z28 black on black leather 14 years ago, with t-tops and had an awesome sounding stock stereo system. I remember one cold day in the winter here in Dallas..Go Cowboys! I went outside and he had his doors open and was playing a nice classic rock or alternative song with a nice guitar rift..i couldnt tell you what song it was because im not that much of a rock fan but that was a special memory because it complemented the beauty of new black on black camaro. Now he has a ws6 needs tlc pretty soon i will help him to get it running back again. God bless you with a lower price on that camaro and enjoy it!
