Let’s get those hands synced up with this epic riff from Chris Wolstenholme! I'm running my bass through a Darkglass Microtubes X Ultra, an EHX Bass Microsynth, and an EHX deluxe bass Big Muff (all in parallel) for that thick synthy tone. @@JBirdBobbyJ oh that makes sense. i agree that those kinds of musicians are annoying. it's extremely annoying to get ads on instagram that say things like "how to succeed as a musician in 2020" or whatever, totally ignoring how it really works and not explaining it. those ads never explain how money gets passed around or how performers actually get paid

How do you keep your right arm relaxed when working at that pace? Maybe it's because I'm underdeveloped in terms of sheer stamina/speed but I feel like I need to raise my elbow/arm to match and maintain speed even to play open strings along with the video

Don't quote me on this but I THINK he has a volume pedal before (and likely after) his distortion/fuzz pedals, because the amount of input going to the pedals effects how much of the tone is clean. When he goes to a lower volume and the distortion comes off a little, I think that's what's going on. A volume pedal before his other effect pedals.
