The Track is about the struggle to overcome anxiety, fear and insecurity. The verses describe the feeling of being overwhelmed and caving in. The choruses talk about wanting to break out of the feeling and regain control. The guitar solo serves as a reminder of hope and faith, suggesting that one can break out of this feeling of hopelessness with the right attitude and mindset. The song is symbolic of the power of the will to overcome obstacles.

There are so many more impressive basslines than this. As a bassist of over 17 years, look at Flea with Chili Peppers just to start. Let alone Geddy Lee from Rush or Geezer Butler from Sabbath. The rage felt when your soul has been ripped out by the fact that all you've been working for, all that you've focused on being is a complete lie. I think the biggest reason I love this band so much apart of Matt’s voice, the incredible songwriting, and the 2000’s rock, mysterious, darkish, at times 80’s, spacey vibe.. because of those things they’re just so different from any band I’ve ever heard. But they sound the most like Radiohead maybe Soundgarden. Plus still has authentic badass guitar drums bass etc. they’re just so awesome.

Whenever I listen to this song, its like the very first time. a chill runs/goes down (one's) spine is absolutely what happens in each time. when I try to the upmost level is, when I also see the official video of the song. Everything, each and every single element, that combines this video is a masterpiece separately. This song is literally like an art, made with musical notes. I have been listening their songs for 20 years, as of 35 years now, they became a very distant part of my life, my adolescence years, university, challenges, comfort, rough times, marriage, road trips, sad days, happiness. They became like a friend of mine that appears in these kind of situations and be there with me when I pass through these feelings. Now we are at the point that words are not good enough to describe this song and Muse. Long live buddies, with my all sincere feelings, wish to meet with u one day and shake your hand personally and thank you for all!
