I don't know about EVER but this may definitely be their best song in years. There are 2 contenders in my opinion still, Animals and Reapers are the main ones in the past 10 years. And I like their other musical styles outside of hard rock, but I just think songs like Explorers(I don't care who says otherwise, that song is amazing) would be too different to compare.

​@@CriticalThinker78 releasing a song like compliance after an absolute banger of track that was won't stand down, was a bit of a disappointment to me for the first time. And I am one to say that I like every song from Muse. Wotp kinda set things ok (I liked it though I expected something different), but still couldn't beat won't stand down. However this...this as to be the best song from their new album I've heard so far. Uprising is on of the best Muse of all time. Better than it, only Stockholm syndrome or Hysteria. But these song are from Muse's golden era. But that's my opinion.

I think it’s because double pedal is something a lot of metal bands do. And since this song is a lot more metal than all their other stuff on this album, they’ve used double pedals. It just makes the song even more metal
