Literally no clue how anyone could think their first album was a Radiohead mimic after listening to this.
@muhgtra2sd11 жыл бұрын
They have never been a copy about any other band; they showed up with a different strength and array right away. I can't stand those who think Muse came out of Radiohead style. My standpoint is that Muse took mainly inspiration by considering previous albums and tunes, something akin to the mainstream followed in the '90s but getting recognized as a new and independent band as well. The only thing I might stick to is the creation of a pop/piano shape over their debut album (it's why most people keep assessing them in that way); listening to Absolution you run into a more personal style, you walk away from their outset and you may spot the newer ideas and shoves whilst you get Hysteria or Butterflies and hurricanes. No one might have made up any akin song, thus you think out a different quote about the latter combinations: a mighty pressure of heavy metal and electro referred to Hysteria where the bass holds the main success key. Anyhow I acknowledge a chunk of their abilities was thrown away when they gave vent to the commercial stream by the release of The Resistance, right after having listened to their latest albums you begin missing them so much! What a wonderful band! Rock and electro were stirred in such a catchy and mad way that Radiohead couldn't make it. No hatred towards Yorke!

Exactly! Well said :)

I disagree, if you listen to interviews with the band and actually listen carefully the influences of Jeff Buckley are far clearer. Tom Yorke goes for a very low key, spoken word style of vocals, Matt is far more operatic.
