The show is "satirical", there are lots of laughs. But it's also a surprisingly deep, fascinating exploration of humanity. I get the reaction Tom Ellis eluded to when I tell friends/family I'm watching "Lucifer." But it is not what they think, it is a surprise, and it's so brilliant and beautiful. Love it, and love these two talented me.

I am excited to see Tom back on screen! At first I didn't know what to think of this show because of the title, but as I did my research and found out it was from a comic I realized this is for entertainment only and should not be taken seriously. I am a strong christian, and study my bible daily so I know the truth of who Lucifer is. I guess there are those who will be offended by the subject matter, but that's their choice. As for me, I'm excited to watch .. mainly because I am a fan of Tom. Congrats Tom!!

The show isn’t anything like the Lucifer Morningstar comic. The character doesn’t resonate the Lucifer comic character either. The tvshow Lucifer is it’s own version that is much weaker too but I have enjoyed the show. It’s important to be able to separate the two. The show isn’t an adaption just a different take on it.

Amazing how many people do are not liking Tom Welling here. But I guess that just proves that you fall in love a a character not there actor. In Smallville his character was lovable, in Lucifer the character is not loveable. And for the saying he is fat, the answer is no, he is bigger because he has developed as he got older, probably due to personal training routines. Does he seem likeable? Yes. Does he seem humble? Yes. As for Tom Ellis, his character on Lucifer is 100% likeable and as a person as well. But you can never tell because remember that even in interviews like these they'll are acting and presenting the image that they want then audience to see. I just hope that they are as nice as they present themselves.

Even when he did Draft Day back in 2014, he was still in good shape. The onset of a double chin has come recently and isn't a factor of "growing up". LOL He has just gotten lazy.

on smallville he was playing Superman/Clark Kent, so obviously he wouldve had to work out every day to keep fit. he's earned a break from having to work out every day i think. Also as you age your metabolism slows so thats also a factor
