Museveni forgives Gen. Kale Kayihura- Kisoro's only son, receives millions of cash for campaigns

President Museveni Monday said he would consider a request by Kisoro District National Resiatnce (NRM) leaders to pardon former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Gen Edward Kalekezi Kayihura, commonly known as Kale Kayihura who served from 2005 until 2018 when he was sacked.
Kayihura is currently facing criminal charges in the army court.

Basically you skipped where the people asked Musevei to revamp relations with Rwanda because they have closed all their business because Rwanda closed its border and they asked him to release Gen. Kayihura for their votes. Kayihura is the one who have been stopping bad actions of the government targeting Rwanda and Rwandans including stopping a bus full of Refugees from Ugandan camps who were being recruited to join anti-Rwanda rebels in Congo, When Kayihura was still the IGP, he refused that and ordered police to arrested the bus in cooperation with Tanzanian security on border. After that kayihura was arrested and till now they have failed to accuse him anything factial.

But because they get a lot of money every month in Parliament they do not want to jeopardise their pay cheque. Did you know the President gets less money than the MPs?
