Can You imagine either Kagame Ruto, Suluhu or Kiir ceding power? They are the stumbling block. The citizens have no issues. Kenyan cannot walk to Uganda, they need a permit! There is a very big border post that serves the sole purpose of hindering and corrupting trade commerce and communication. Between Tanzania and Kenya it is worse, but it is understandable given the animosity between the citizens.

Whatever said security of citizens must prevail as a priority. What will integration mean if people or citizens are not there. All those good ideas should be accompanied by respecting human rights. During colonialism peace was a priority, law and order, jobs on merit and not necessarily where president comes from, conducive terms of education, health care and infructures etc. When a president swears in is a president for all parts of the country regardless areas who never voted him and development or service delivery should be or the same page across the country. Right people should be positioned in right positions for good services. Africans were better off than today some African leaders claiming fighting for them when they're being dumped backwardness four thousand years.
