this is great! what if i dont have bleached hair but the ends are naturally brassy (my roots are a 5 or 6 and my ends go from 7 to 8), could I just use a 6.1 or 7.1 all over my head and get something similar? id like it to be completely ashy and not make it much darker, 6 maximum. Also, does 10 volume lift?

@@mehreenfarhan5375 i tried an ashy dark brown (level 5) with a 3.5 vol. and it was a bit dark but it worked. Same thing with level 6 didn't work so well, there's still some warmth but not brassy just more natural, but still a bit dark perhaps. I may try a 7 with 10 volume

@@mehreenfarhan5375 also 3.5 volume is great because it doesn't lift at all, like I don't need any color maintenance it just faded away slowly and my roots have no visible line at all

I was told toner last on average 4-6 weeks. Depends on how often hair is washed etc.
