Apparently I just missed meeting you on Saturday as i was still coming out of the forest while you stopped to talk to the group at the cars. Still amazed at how you find them. Surprisingly I found some at low elevation and also higher but not as far up as your suggestion to the group. I guess I have a couple of spots now aince others etill have trouble finding much. To my surprise l also found some nice lobsters. Chanterelles in the area of the group were very wet and sparse.

Yes, I stopped by the group as I was coming back from an overnight stay foraging, 2 hours from there. Gave some mushrooms to the group and left. I was happy to see so many of you were out having fun. Chantrelles this year is not great all over Washington. At least you guys came out on the year, that has an abundant of different mushrooms to learn about. 👍Stay tune, I might do something similar. 😃 😊
