So excited to see that the Fried Chicken are out! I discovered these mushrooms in huge patches last year and they quickly became my favorite mushrooms to eat! If you cook them long enough they taste like fried chicken skins! ❤😁

You’re still finding C. Smithii! Dang. I find them here in NW Montana way back in September and, if lucky, in to October. Going to be out your way this weekend, and now I’m itching to get out in the woods for a look around while there!

Thanks again! I was just enjoying warmth from my wood stove and watching this when I realized I’ve seen the mycena in my woods! Just walked my path before dark and found some troops of mycena robusta and a single hypholoma dispersa! Neither of those are in my book, “All That the Rain Promises and More…” Gonna check the other book in a minute. Do you ever bring your fans along on forays? Maybe it’s time I join your Patreon. 🤔

@@p3co_ in the autumn I offered a dozen guided foray groups, It was such a good mushroom season. Not really enough out there to do foraging groups right now but I'm going to do a lot more in the fall, and maybe a couple in the spring, if you're around the area. Keep an eye on mushroomwonderland.com.
