No matter what other people say or what malicious articles written.... one thing is for sure they really love each other.... and even though they did not end up together in this lifetime, whenever or wherever they go rico is already a part of claudine and she is also a part of him and no one can take that away from them. Only the two of them knows what really happened. This is me... still watching this interview in 2022. In Claudine's interview with Boy Abunda after the death of Rico, she revealed that they have broken up November of last year (so that was 2001, because this movie was shown on 2002), so it means that during the filming of the movie and in this interview, they are no longer together. But GOD, they really are professionals, they still went through all these interviews and promotions for the movie and pretend like they are still in a relationship. And notice the part where they were asked what their plan on Valetines Day was and Rico's answer... ( 11:02 ) Imagine keeping your relationship for 4 years behind the public's eye, then suddenly telling the whole world your plan for Valentine's Day??? I think, the way he says it, he was telling it to Claudine herself, that if they were only still together as a couple, he would've done those things for her. That was my observation.
