And I collect cds too!! I love reading lyrics and looking at artwork. I always go out of my way to buy the deluxe edition of any bands cd even if it costs!!

The song from Czarina reminded me some of what I enjoyed from the song "Inner Universe" by Origa from the first season of Ghost in the Shell, with maybe some hints of Enigma as well as Kate Bush, and some Satyrian thrown in too.

I think the "what kind of goth am I" came out of the desire for the young folks at the time, to have a distinct and seemingly solid form to identify with. I recall toying with such ideas in the early 2000's as I was passing through my mid to late teens. Over time I realized a single specific label was never enough to describe me.

Got to the end of the interview, and am now disappointed I didn't get to hear a conversation about DC Talk... Used to be something of a Jesus Freak back in my teens. It was nice to hear Dani talking about their view shifts though. I'm currently going through the process of continuing to break down and move away from the mental structures and frameworks I imbibed during my youth in the church.

As I stated in one of the Obscura Undead virtual club nights in DJ Azy's stream I hope to one day get a Deathrock/Goth band together that never dresses Goth and call them 4 Non Goths but have their music solidly and undeniably within the Goth music genre. ( 1 would dress like Fred Jones from Scooby Doo, 1 would dress like Richie Cunningham from Happy days, 1 could dress like your bog standard Red Neck, etc. )
