Great list from Mega Ran. Going a little bit beyond just artist branding, how do you balance having a 'style'/aesthetic etc with also being versatile? for example as an engineer I know you've worked on a ton of different genres, do you think you did anything to frame your 'profile' (in a broader sense, not just social media) so that you could move between them easier?

I'm really only starting to learn "branding" and what I'm finding is that it's all a bit ambiguous. It's kinda an umbrella term. I think the main thing is just the diversity of what records I'm associating with. A bit of a Catch-22, you have to work in the field to get work in the field. But that's why I'm never mixing Metal. It's not that I don't dig Metal - I just never do it, so no one hires me to do it LOL.

@@WeissAdvice Yeah, it seems a challenge. I would love to work on a wide variety of projects but it seems like it would be much harder than gaining a name in one niche.
