Those interested in more of the music of Maximilian's court can find two uploads on KZbin entitled "Music for Maximilian" side one and side two. I am fortunate to have a copy from the 1960's of the LP from the series; "Musik in Alte Stadten und Residenzen."

There is also a masterful compilation titled Triumph of Maximilian by David Munrow’s group from the early 70s

This is all so beautiful! Do you by chance make any transcriptions as arrangements for brass quintet or brass ensemble? "Ich stunt an einem Morgen" is stunning. Same goes for "Ade mit Leid." I play in a brass quintet and would like to learn more Renaissance music. Thank you so much for sharing these, along with the slideshow and its citations.

It has been awhile since I uploaded that video. I almost always give the websites that I used to obtain MIDI files unless I made the MIDI myself

That would be Austria, "Burgundy", the Low Countries, Switzerland, Germany, Italy judging by the "nationaliti[es]", languages and active areas of the three composers mentioned alone.:)

One thing I don't like about this is lack of variation in attack Every note is very punchy and in your face, and not only you wouldn't have it if real people played it, it also doesn't sound very nice with this style of music

Thank you for the comment. That was one of my early attempts at MIDI manipulation. I have since worked on attack and decay variables to create a more mellow sound.

@@earlymusicmidi Glad to hear you improved! Hope you don't take my comment as an insult. I just found your video in a playlist with early music, and felt like I should point this out

Not at all! This has been a series of experiments for me, with some results much better than others, and some quite unsatisfactory. I like to test the limits of current tech in new ways 😊

Not authentic. heavily over engineered perhaps even electronic.

You are absolutely correct. It is entirely a MIDI rendition. It was one of my earliest efforts at creating something that sounded like early instruments using an iPhone app. I wasn't as sensitive at the time to the glitches and overtones that are intrinsic to electronic music synthesis. It was more or less an experiment in what was possible.
