Greatest band of all time, this gives a very slim picture of them. I will look into buying some reactions to some of the live from the Basement to show you what this is really like. It's really a musicians band!

OK Computer and In Rainbows is the best album in last 90s and 00s decade, definitely worth to check more of this band.

Hi Faana, awesome reaction, thanks ever so much. I sent you a video of 'Just' but I also sent you the live version, so please do the live version, they're so good. I'm really looking forward to watching the breakdowns of the others. I'm working on the next ones to send you, some more Radiohead and all live versions. I think you're really going to enjoy all the Radiohead songs, the arrangements are incredible and both Thom (Yorke, singer) and Jonny (Greenwood, lead guitar) have also done film scores. Thom is also very much an environmentalist, which I love and 'Street Spirit' is about the coming of globalisation, the death of individualism and the closing in of that world. I know a lot about Radiohead, I've followed them from day one! But I'd be here for hours typing it up. I'll tell you more at our next lesson. However, Thom is only two years older than me and Jonny a year younger and when I watch them in these live versions, it takes me back to my youth 😊. See you online for our lesson next week. PS. I'm practising every day 😉

I've always thought that Fake Plastic Trees was about the artificality of a materialistic lifestyle and how it's difficult to have a real relationship with that lifestyle. I'm quite green in my politics, but I've never thought this song was related to that - however, art is subjective - so fair enough if you do. It's a beautiful song and one of my favourites from them. You might want to try High and Dry, Street Spirit (Fade Out), No Surprises and Exit Music from a Film, also. They have so many interesting and great songs (many live versions on YT, including the Basement sessions for In Rainbows), so enjoy 😊

The lyrics are basically about relationships and how it may feel real and you may want it to be real but your connection with the person will never be as strong as you want it to be. (Given the “my fake plastic love” lyric and “If I could be who you wanted, all the time”)
