Well the whale is described as essentially a baby planet eater of sorts. And the second phase is just you dealing with being in it's stomach.

Yeah the Narwhal is definitely not just a normal sea creature hanging around in the ocean. There's definitely a method to the madness with their music, such as the dubstep that has been mentioned to you.

5:17 When this part starts you get swallowed by the whale and fight this knight looking black thing called "The Shadow" after defeating it you teleport back to where you just were.

Oh hey, I'm early for once! Great video! I won't spoil too much just in case you do decide to play the game (feel free to skip this paragraph if you want), but a very basic summary of this whale is that it's an otherworldly (abyssal) creature that is effectively on track to herald mass destruction of an entire nation and we, obviously, are trying to stop it. It's also *massive* compared to us which is really emphasised the most in phase one with the grandiose brass and choir, in my opinion. One of my personal favourite little details in this boss fight (that you pointed out) is that especially in phase 2 you can hear whale clicks and noises mixed in with the dubstep, and it meshes together really well for me. You're also right that especially here the whale has otherwordly origins hence the dubstep/electronic music. For having never played the game you're picking up a good number of details already! Keep it up :D

Mixing whale sounds with dubstep really worked out! Not my favorite, but it's extremely fitting for the boss. There are many region OSTs, and because they are like around two minutes, you can fit two in one video. I'll recommend two very different ones, just because of their immense diverse nature: 1. Hustle and Bustle of Ormos (Sumeru specific location music) 2. Glory and Decay (Underwater civilisation requiem music)

Phase one is we fight the Narwhal while it flies around and phase two begins as it swallows us whole and we fight a creature inside it and it is a really good boss battle. You mentioned a crack in the sky, we first see that at the end of the character demo for Neuvillette

hey, pretty cool seeing another music lover reacting to Hoyo-mix music! There is a joke in the community that Hoyoverse is actually just a music company that developed games as an excuse to compose great music. Since I'm already commenting, here are some other music from Hoyo that is absolutely amazing, most of them have a character demo version that would be fun to watch you react too, as a sugestion: you could listen to the music and then react to the character trailer/demo where it is used. For some of these songs context might matter. Oh and dub step is bot jusrmt other planets but realms (the abyss etc.) and just powers far from our understanding.

it is only incorporated to stuff involving otherworldly. the abyss and the forbidden all comes from outside of teyvat. hence it causes pollution to the irminsul.

This is one best Genshin' boss themes. I really recommend 3 phases of *"Pejudara"* or simply Phantylia's boss theme from Honkai: Star Rail too.

Really great theme, i also really like the first phase too :D It's not set in stone yet but in around 1.5 hours there will be a big livestream for the new region, natlan. If i remember correctly then the live symphonies (like the ones from fontaine and sumeru you reacted to) came out during those livestreams. So i'd say there might be one for sumeru dropping today and if not, then it's highliy likely it drop within the next one or two weeks. Just a heads up as reacting to very recent content usually brings in a good amount of views / people :D
