So, in case no one else has mentioned it yet, the singer of this song is the VA for Don Quixote. This is one of my personal favorite tracks from Canto 7 alongside the Mili song "Hero", and The Barber boss fight theme. Great analysis! I look forward to the next one!

Tracks made for ProMoon are often split into different parts based on the progression of the scene, such as Between Two Worlds by Mili (which I would love to hear your thoughts on). The song will repeat the current section until you progress to the next part of the story, and then the song will also move on to the next section. In this case, all of the distinctions you made are separate parts that will repeat until you move on to the next scene. I'd assume the reason for the sudden cut at the end is because it's meant to loop. The first section of the OST is when you first arrive and everything looks hunky dory in the parade. The second section with all the disturbing background lines is when you start to see through the facade of the parade. The last section, if I'm remembering correctly, is when you meet the mini-boss.

Thanks! This is incredibly good to know. It's something I noticed in quite a lot of Ruina tracks while playing the game (like the battle themes). A few others suggested Between Two Worlds so I will likely do it very soon.

Uhhh u forgot to put on the subtitles on KZbin itself to understand the lyrics too. Dont know why but love the analysis on the song progression itself. The lyrics add more context to the song itself so i will be glad to see your impression if u see both of the lyrics and the song together! .

6:00 I think this is a super fun point! it feels like PM employs it alot in moments where they want to emphasise a creeping realisation of sorts, and you're right when you say this is far from the only time. like, yeah, the carnival is creepy, but it becomes much creepier in very different ways as you learn more about it, and the ways studio EIM and Milli both have learned to communicate stuff like that through music is both amazing to watch and why people like me leave comments like this all the time LMAO

I have 2 main recommendations atm: 1. If you want to stay on the "Don Quixote train," I think Canto 7 Boss Battles 1 through 4 (take your pick of any of them but I'm partial to 4) would be excellent to break down and some of my favorites from EIM in Limbus so far. 2. If you want something very unique at face value, I would love to hear your thoughts on Canto 6 Boss Battle 4, for the very real chance that it might be more similar to the "PM OSTs vibes/trops" from Mili and EIM than one would think at first in subtle ways.

The context of this track is that it plays in a masquerade parade in Manchaland wich is a ammusment park in Limbus Company and it's name after an actual place on Spain wich is also the place where the original Don Quixote book takes place in, the lyrics on the song do give some context of what is going on without being too spoily once you read the lyrics if you had the subtitles of the video on Also your pronounciation of Don Quixote is not how you pronounces Don Quixote cause the "x" on Quixote is only a english thing cause the name is Quijote with a J said, at least that's how us spanish speakers said Don Quixote
