I like both, but in both they suffer from a problem of bad cut. If you pick the TV version cut, and compare with the Full version, the tv cut sounds off. Not good like the original version.

The guitarist and drummer are brother and sister so they probably had a lot of time playing together to build a tight rhythm. I always found sibling instrumentalists to be fun and very in sync. E.g Pantera and Van Halen

It's funny because it didn't start out that way! Originally it was just Daisuke and Nao (Vocalist and Drummer respectively) and they had another guitarist and bassist. It was only after they released their first album that the other two left and got replaced by Ryo and Ue in that order.

8:05 I love how you mention Ue-Chan’s bass playing. Ue-Chan is heavily influenced by Flea, so you’ll hear that come across a lot in their songs. As for Drums, Nao is one of the most influential drummers in Japan. Many female drummers in Japan have cited her as an inspiration, the most notable being Akane from Band Maid, with many others stating they didn’t even know girls could play Drums until they saw Nao. So for as silly as MTH could get at times (you’ll find this fact out in many of their other songs) it’s important to know the mark they’ve left on the Japan music scene.
@arcturionblade10772 жыл бұрын
Another cool Japanese female drummer/backup singer is the one from Uchikobi Gakumon (they made the opening song for Netflix's 'Way of the Househusband'). Saw them live in concert at Viva La Rock 2022 in Saitama, and they were a lot of fun. Oh, and Maximum the Hormone were there too and they were awesome!

Would love to see what you think about the Madoka Magica Openings and Ending, specifically "Connect" (the show's original OP), the original Ending "Magia the 3rd Movie's Opening "Colorful". Full versions would be fine too, but I think the 1min30sec versions are enough for analysis. Really curious to maybe find out what feel you get out of these if you were to react to them. Not gonna say more, as that could already spoil the fun, and I'd rather let you react blind than have you burdened with my expectations or the like :p

Funny trivia! When Funimation dubbed this anime and Adult Swim (Cartoon Network) aired it, they added subtitles to the opening song. Part of the lyrics is “Human Fucker”, but the subtitles where about high concepts like mans depravity or something.
