On Eloy's Drumeo video it's wild to watch him play metal like this playing through the cymbals, and then turn around and play a bunch of really high level jazz, fusion and latin music on the same kit, cymbals and sticks. Dude has an unbelievable vocabulary, capabilities, stamina, precision. Some of his tom fills remind me of Vinnie because its just sooo clean

Isolation from this same session is my personal favorite. He's got blazing fast feet while not using triggers. One of my favorite drummers because of the sheer power he plays with. A lot of the fast players don't hit very hard to get the speed whereas Eloy just freaking muscles through it.

Eloy is so good! As for fave Sepultura song, Inner Self(nostalgic reasons). I'd recommend Meshuggah's Tomas Haake "Clockworks" playthrough. Sleep Token's "Hypnosis" playthrough. And second the Drummers from Hell playthrough of Mgla's "Exercises in Futility V" recommendation. Digging the channel!🤘🏽

Would definitely suggest MGLA - Exercises in Futility V drum cam. Someone who has taken rudiments, paradiddles and bell work to the max. Amazing song and writing.

Fun fact: vocalist Derrick Green's brother lives in Seattle. Or at least did a number of years ago. I saw them play at El Corozon, and they pointed him out in the crowd, as they were staying with him. ;-) But yes, Eloy is a man amongst boys on those drums. You should check out his Modern Drummer Festival video from when he was 14 years old. That's pretty damn impressive as well!

I love every one of your reactions! I have a request which may be different from the music you've recently have listened to but they have melodic rock elements in their music. I would love to hear your analysis to Deja Vu by Dreamcatcher and Boca by Dreamcatcher if you have any time to do it! Supporting your videos, always!
