I mean, if I were in Vegas specifically, I'd be way too busy going to all the wonderful restaurants, heh. But in a casino in general... I dunno, I'm not much of a gambler. I understand the math too well, lol. So for that reason, I'd say probably Blackjack, as it's the only game in which you can theoretically expect to beat the house if you're very, very good at it (but if you aren't, you'll only lose around 1% per hand on average and so your money will last a good long while).

More of jinjer pls. Vlad is an amazing drummer and he even composed some of their songs. One of the most chaotic ones he has done is called "ape". Very complex song and really heavy. If you want to hear a older one i would really recommend "exposed as a liar". This is my favourit jinjer song and in my opinion it is extremely underrated.

Man that instrumental work at 5:00 is just one of my absolute favourite riffs/drums in metal ever. It just feels like 3 guys jamming out together, almost in a garage band way, but it also just sounds so technical and groovy. All 4 of the band members just click so well together it's insane.

Some people (reactors, too... they're people, right? ;-) think what they're seeing is a swirling vortex from space or something with some kind of awesome trash monster game-like character, when what they're actually witnessing is the brutal place that is Tatiana's troubled inner psyche of uncontrollable thoughts and emotions. Tati is such a complex, dichotomy of a richly talented yet sensitive and unassuming superstar. I simply love her, the guys and their awesomely powerful music. Thx, Tony!

I would say next try Pit of Consciousness Live in Kiev or Teacher Teacher OMV - both solid choices. Jinjer (as you are finding out) almost never have the same song structure - their composition is always varied as can be their style too. Keep it up, you have a really fresh view of them that is fun to watch and interesting to see because you pick up on different things. 4:58 - Jinjer has this sound that reminds me of a machine chewing through something. I suppose that makes sense as their logo is a graphical depiction of the head of an exploratory drill mining bit. Mining is the main industry in Horlovka, Ukraine, where they are from, and resources in that area are one of the reasons for the war that is currently ongoing there.

Pisces, the first song you did was written before Vlad even became their drummer. They recorded that version because Vlad's arrangement was distinctly different than the original composition with a lot more ghost notes and some different fills. Everything else you've reacted to was written by Vlad himself so the drum composition is more his own rather than an interpretation of another drummer's composition.

Haha, totally with you on this. I blame Roman for my current journey down the road of Drop A, and he's right at the top of my pile of inspirational players at the moment. Never flashy or really that technical if you break them into a few bars at a time, but damn they are a physical and mental workout if you want to try and get through a whole song. I have a few of their older songs under my belt, but the Wallflowers album just leaves me bamboozled! I'm pretty sure I read an article where Roman mentioned this album was pretty challenging to master as many of the riffs were Vlad's compositions.

Vlad is one of those high-IQ guys who's easily bored, so expect *plenty* syncopation! This song is from last year's "Wallflowers" album, ~80% of the music for which was composed by Vlad.... not that surprising when you realise he's actually a classically trained pianist to trade!! #AnnoyinglyTalented LOL He only switched from (self-taught) guitar to (self-taught) drums in his previous band because he felt that would be easier than conveying his ideas for more interesting drumming to a new drummer o_O Anyhoo.... this took my song of the year for 2021, & being a bass player, Eugene's playing in this almost had me go & spend money I don't have on a decent 5-string. Check out the bass playthrough vid he uploaded for this sometime- it's an absolute drop-A 5-string #MasterClass The slides, the casually fingernail-raked chordals, even a little slap&pop where few others would think to place it.... & yet always tasteful, & to the betterment of the song. He's just *so* good. :)

Ah... the song that has no chorus. Try to notice that the next time(s) you listen to it. 😉 Also, Eugene has a fatter sound than usual in this song because he used distortion on the bass. Another great reaction! There are so many recommendations I can give you but I feel I should stay close to Jinjer, both musically and geographically. The band Infected Rain, from Moldova, has gotten quite big in the last few years, deservedly so. Although, it is their earlier songs I like more. One of their first is Enslaved by a Dream. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mprVgYl7nZqbgMk&ab_channel=InfectedRain Most of their early work has a sort of a melody, melancholy sound or groove that floats throughout the songs, on top of many cool ideas while still being very heavy and, at times, much heavier than many other bands that like to think of themselves as heavy (a lot like Jinjer). The vocalist, Elena Cataraga aka Lena Scissorhands, has some of the dirties lows in the business. I know you don't listen to the lyrics on first go but the music video tells a story, helped a lot by the lyrics, with many artistic choices. I honestly don't know why it is not much more known. It is in my must experience metal songs+videos, alongside Jinjer - Pisces and Electric Callboy - Hypa Hypa that you have already seen. If you would fancy a live performance, I feel that with your passion for drummers it is high time you met the best metal drummer at the moment - Mario Duplantier. His brother and he form half of Gojira and the song The Gift Of Guilt (Live at Brixton Academy, London) showcases him pretty well technically, staminawise and showmanshipwise. He also has some cool drum videos that showcase him in isolation. kzbin.info/www/bejne/rKPJo2yqa6uoirc&ab_channel=RoadrunnerRecords Hope you have a blast with them.
