Valve did a great job with L4D and L4D2, and they truly know how to make a zombie game terrifying. This menu is honestly my favorite, even though I'm not a huge fan of the Swamp Fever campaign myself. I guess it just feels so fitting for a zombie apocalypse.

To me personally, it sounds sad. Like an utter defeat. And it's kinda fitting if we consider Village En Marais, one of the very few communities that managed to last this long, but sadly still fell to the Green Flu. And I think this song is a tribute to it. A sad song portraying the utter defeat Village En Marais and it's citizens suffered.

PicklePyro I feel ya, this was the title screen I got when one of my good pals introduced me to this game years ago. Left 4 Dead 2 being my first zombie game, it goes without saying that I was a bit reluctant to play when I saw this creepy-ass title screen. But I played it anyway. And I'm glad I didn't chicken out, because L4D remains one of my favorite zombie game series to this day ( right up there with Resident Evil ).
