X stood right into the gates of hell He knew, as Zero did too, that they were going to face the deadliest of their missions up to that moment. Sigma's Palaces, mega headquarters build puporsely for war purposes against humanity in a genocidal run, contain most of the facilities that develop maverick....and also infect a lot of the already created reploids. The start of the outbreak and Maverick Wars has changed the world in serious aspects. settlements of humanity and reploids alike, such as cities and towns, which once a time served as a proof of their mutual cooperation, now rest like mere debris, debris of the destruction provoked. Casualties are reporting in the hundreds, or even worse, in the millions. Same case affects the reploids, that also have to deal with the increasing number of infected, every time a maverick hunter kills one of those, 3 or more rise to overrun him. Psychological and material damage is already high, sacrifices have been heavy, as some have been forced to form part of Sigma's maverick armada, others have succumbed to the virus, but, in the end, every single one of they had to face the only cure for the moment: *death*. A lot of chaotical things have passed since last days, but if X knew something, right when looking into the entrance of the maverick headquarters was that... *he cannot look back. What was needed to do must be do. The fate of the world rest in him and Zero's hands*

This, along with X vs Zero, shows your genius with custom lyrics. The latter remains my favorite cover, even all these years later. If I may request one song, might it be a medley of Colonel's stage, Vs. Iris, Final Weapon and Vs. General from X4, from Zero's perspective? The lyrics you came up with for this song, as well as X vs. Zero and vs. Lumine were all brilliant and heartfelt. I can only imagine how you would capture Zero's emotions as he was forced to take the lives of his adopted family, and yet I know those lyrics would be brilliant.
