[Music] Cyril the Wolf - X vs Zero from Mega Man X5 (Vocal Cover)

For the Mega Man fanatic that lives in all of us... You know in Mega Man X5 when a bunch of stupid crap goes down and you're about to fight against X or Zero and this BADASS guitar riff starts you off. Just so pumped. Anyway I tried to write this from X's perspective as to what he's thinking about when he's fighting his former best friend because of dumb plot reasons. Also entering this into RichaadEB's contest. Just seems like a good way to show my stuff to more people and opportunities in a realm I feel like I've lost touch with. Also as a way for me to get into it comfortably - I'm not the best at the social aspect of all this. So here's to 2017 where I become less of an internet shut-in ;)

The recordings do make you look kind of goofy, but it’s the kind of goofy where one can tell you had fun with this. As for the cover itself, not only does it sound great, but it’s also fitting and succeeds in sounding like it comes from X’s pov (and in some parts, even works for a Zero pov in my opinion). That pre-chorus especially gets stuck in my head quite a bit. Overall, this is great. I love this.

Also that within the rest of the canon the X version makes more sense so I always sorta... explored that one.
