That's the most game i have ever heard a producer give away on a interview without being in the actual studio with them. Note taking type game. If you're an artist or producer, the first thing you should do is handle that publishing. BMI or ASCAP. Do your research on both and pick the best for you.

I said the same thing man. He was giving you real answers, not that fairy tale bullshit you get on all these other videos. Honestly as he said the best way to get on is, attach yourself to a artist, or rap on your own shit. To me, send my music off to a big artist is just throwing a penny into the ocean. Seems just like a lottery ticket. Cause you don't know what this artist is trying to do on the project he's working on. You could have a hot beat, but he might be on a whole other vibe. And these big artists seem like they probably get 100s if not thousands of beats. What's the chances my beat even gets heard by him?

COMET212 In an oversaturated market your only true chance of being heard by enough people or that one special person is to make your brand work for you and one of the ways you can do that is by way of other artists who may be able to access people places and things you can't as just a "producer" no different than advertisements on the sides of busses, busses get around, busses are highly visible, busses are constantly picking up and dropping off a diverse group of people. This is what having your music attached to a HOT artist can do for your brand to make it grow.
