I freaking hate seeing spam links on facebook etc.. if you want people to listen get in touch with people and make a contact then they may spread the word through their means that they have available. Email them like you are trying to make a friend not just another person you can HOPE looks at your work.

Hahahah yeah, when I first started I was blowing up every rapper with my Soundcloud in Twitter. And posting on Instagram everyday. Now I post once a week on Instagram and it's made a huge difference. Soundcloud has never worked for me. But I really want to focus KZbin. If anybody could give me some pointers I'd be more than happy to use them.

well I think I can answer the question why a producer would want to buy beats. I can't speak for all.. but I do rap as well. So while I can make my own beats. As a rapper, I enjoy listening to other producers creativity on a beat.. and it influences my raps to something different had I made it. If that makes sense..

yea it was weird, about a week ago i tweeted that i was looking for artists to produce for and i ended up getting a bunch of spam beat emails and shit. but i just became a member on beatstars.com and it seems like a really good resource, but it doesnt really go for sampled music on there. so should i just try to switch over to nonsampled beats or would i be able to get away with some samples? i just dont wanna get in any trouble or get banned from the site.

public domain refers to copyright law, nothing to do with phone numbers or email addresses. with all of the legal precedence with phone numbers-- no call lists, unlisted numbers, opting out, unlawful use of a telephone laws, the fcc-- I find it odd that you don't see why an email address can't get "stolen" and misused in a way counter to applicable laws.
