Taetro, I have recently discovered you while researching the Akai MK3 Mini controller and stumbled upon your video. Since then I started watching more of your videos (yes, yes - I have liked them and subscribed already :P )and I have to tell you that I am really grateful for the content you're creating. I find your videos very easy to follow and rich in information; also the way you make the into is so warm and nice!

I think you have convinced me to finally learn ableton and get a mk3, ive been dawless since starting my music production journey and I just feel like I NEED more options now that I know exactly what I do and dont want to do. Before I learned to make beats on the sp404 and po33 I was so intimated by DAWs. Now that I understand how I want to build a beat, you making videos like this that show the entire process of making is basically the stand bridge between me being timid about getting into ableton and now being very excited to build with the freedom it brings. I am sure you hear this alot but these videos are worth way more than the statistics show!

This type of video is awesome! I found your channel because I just bought the akai pro mpk mini mk3 and I'm trying to learn with the fee mpc beats program. I'd love to have a video where you do this same process only using what came with the mpk mini mk3 to show how beginners like me might work in that environment before we make the jump to something more pricey like Ableton or FL studio. Also maybe a video showing how to work with MPC beats like you do in Ableton that would be helpful I think for a lot of people with how popular the mpk mini is. Also your videos are so easy to follow and I don't think there is anything like I've described above yet at least that I've been able to find so far. No worries if this is a weird ask do what you like just wanted to give a thought.

like always - this is so nice to watch - I'm a beginner with a launchkey Mini - never got music lessons nor experience in creating music, but your movies are motivating me to learn Ableton (and I also got a Melodic subscription to learn playing keys). This type af movies show how a song is born (I real .. ). The lockdown in Belgium (caused by COVID 19), is giving me some free time (otherwise I always ahave a very busy schedule - but now plenty of free time to learn something new :-) )

I hope you stil look at older videos, I really enjoy these type of commentary and beat making videos, I hope you have more I will look for it. I have a question. At around 4:28 you stop the recording by pressing some button? How did you do it such that I stopped perfectly at the end of the bar. I haven't managed to fined it and I always manually adjust the loop duration which is kind of a pain to be honest.

Video on your Mastering Chain! You have an older vid on your basic processing chain, but what are you using on your master? I usually don't have issues with beats or ideas, but get stuck at the mastering end of a track. Many unreleased projects have died trying to get across the finish line. Your process seems to be streamlined for fast production because of the nature of your channel. I think many musicians can benefit from the "Get it out there" mentality but also has to sound good.

Nicely done. Question: at what point do you feel like you are getting the beat too saturated, in the sense that you can't distinguish some of the instruments? for example, the harp sound was interesting, but it got lost in the middle of the way.

"I'm so fast with the undo button" ... is there a way to midi map undo? Or are you just pressing command/control + z on your laptop?

Aaaannndddd then you explain it 2 seconds later. 😆 I'm quick with the 1 handed ctrl + z too, but I could be even more efficient if I could just press a single key on the midi, so I'm still curious on this. 🤔
