Maybe we need all Scottish pipers to stand up to the American police force. Yrs force is true. During war enemy was afraid of the sound of pipers. I know had family in WW 1 and WW2 my faither WW2 captured@ Dunkirk Sargent Royal Scots and Argyle and Southern Highlanders. Need my Dad back to help Americans gain footage. I am so sad I cant do anything but cry

This is taken from the Edinburgh Royal military tattoo, "the man with the gun and American pot" is a traditional roll the cannon shot would be the signal for the pipers to pipe the men into battle. Replacing him with a gun crew would be an appalling abuse of a tradition going back thousands of years
