She’s from Cork in Ireland and busks in Dublin as well..she’s well known here! She has her own KZbin channel as well if you want to hear more from her and support her as well. I’m a Yank but have lived in Northern Ireland for over twenty years, I’ve found that for such a small country it seems to have huge talent no matter which city center or pub you go into! On a cold night (of which there are many) tucked in a pub with great musicians and singers can leave you with a lump in your throat...or like you, actually bring you to 💦 tears!

A great performer, Allie is now 17 and her range and depth just keep exploding almost logarithmically. That last note (to me) has the clear purity that I haven’t heard since Karen Carpenter and yet on the other end of the power spectrum she almost yodels in a free form magical sense. With over 5M KZbin followers she seems to have her choice of labels once she turns 18. I love that she loves to perform and I think her star is going to explode next year which is great news for anyone who loves great performances.

Sometime around 2016 I stumbled upon Allie busking in Tralee and was completely blown away by her exceptional voice and delivery. She was only 11 or 12 at the time but it was very obvious to me that she was uniquely very special. I like your critique BTW.. I was mesmerized by Allie and didnt notice the conversation between the guitar players thanks for pointing that out. I had no idea of the cues musicians send to each other during a song. Makes me wonder if ones playing is off, and ignores or does not even look at the other band members can that cause problems?

This teacher knows his game!!! I was waiting to hear how Allie went after the part in the song that we all that's coming, where Thom Yorke literally skyrockets out of human form into God knows what... and the teacher goes... a little flat. Yeah I agree. But she did a lot of other really cool things with her voice throughout the song. And that climatic vocal by Thom Yorke in the song is legendary and definitely NOT easy to do. So despite that, Allie sang pretty darn good. And the teacher, its cool to listen to his critique because you can really see how much he knows about music.

Yes ! This was great! Allie is very cool 😎 I have heard some songs where I thought she was pushing for her voice ( a little "try to show off a bit" moment) when the voice cracks and to cover it up gets a little (shouty) . I realize she is still young, but I believe she has talent, great big voice, but hate to see her over do it and crash and burn. She has so much to give, and the public love her. He's correct in his interp. Allie is notorious for being able to do many things with her songs. I've heard her do Creep several times similarly but she can switch it up so easily at any given opportunity. That's why I listen to her often. She's very versatile in ability or so it has appeared so.

The fact that she does what she does so effortlessly is what is amazing. She's had very little formal training - can you imagine what she could do with some professional guidance?! She's got this HUUUUGE voice while merely standing there, hands in pockets, just doing what comes naturally. Very few singers these days have this kind of control. I love knowing that her dad is always there overseeing and keeping her safe

@Southern Comfort She may not need anyone to "hold her hand", but ultimately, busking is just a means to an end (i.e., being well paid for her talents, perhaps?). She and her father put in a 5 hour journey for a long day of busking...might get old after awhile, and having a "professional" involved may help further her career.
