Thanks again from Japan 有難う 💛。 I witnessed the live debut of this song 😍 that was played together (once and only to date) as the encore & finale of the special concert by Band-Maid & The Warning on June 12 in Roppongi, Tokyo . My seat was located on the 2nd floor but in the center meaning in front of the two drummers. I was in bliss! It looked to me that Paulina and Akane literally and happily competed like a duel to see which drummer can kick harder enough to break their bass drum in the joint performance. 🤣 (FYI : In the special concert, The Warning, who opened as the special guest, performed so powerful that the Maids were fired up to start their turn with fullest energy as the hostess band. It was fun like a kind of show-offs between two martial art fighters respecting each other. 😄) Note : Please check a video recently released in The Warning official channel that captures beautiful friendship with Band-Maid. It was filmed in Japan.

Band-Maid: Akane - Drummer Misa - Bass guitar Kanami - Lead guitar Miku - Rythm guitar Saiki - Singer So TW and B-M met at a US festival in 2022 and said they should collaborate. They got that opportunity this year. TW went to Japan and played three shows, one with Band-Maid. TW traveled to Japan two weeks early to write/compose/record with B-M and record a MV. They then played it together at their one concert together. In an interview on the PRS channel, Kanami and Dany said that more collaborations are in the future. Kanami wants B-M to go to Mexico and and Dany wants the collab to be in Spanish. Dany and Kanami play similar PRS guitars in the same color. There is now a behind the scenes video of the two bands together on TW's YT channel.

The Warning is Dany, lead singer, guitar player and piano Pau, backing & lead vocals, drums and piano Ale, backing vocals, bass and piano Kanami "bullied" both Dany and Saiki to sing in a slightly higher pitch than they normally do. They all had a good time together and from the instagram especially Misa and Ale found they have a lot in common.

BTW - there's a behind the scenes video of this collab on The Warning's channel Was lucky enough to be at their joint concert in Tokyo where they live debuted this song. Me & GF flew 6K miles from oHio to Japan! We spent 10 days in Japan. We stayed 5 days in Kyoto & Tokyo each with day trips to Osaka & Himeji. Was an amazing concert & trip! Was an experience we both will cherish forever! Really hoping that they release an official live video of this from that concert too!

In the beginning there was 2 bands, *BAND-MAID* from Japan and *The Warning* from Mexico, and in 2022 they was invited to play at the *Aftershock* Festival, there they met for the first time, and 2 years later a Collaboration was created.

I was at the show they did with Band Maid in Tokyo, where they debuted this amazing song! You nailed it. There was no competing involved! They were celebrating each other's talent. It was quite emotional seeing how much they loved and respected each other. I was in tears by the end.

Great reaction to a great collaboration. As you mentioned, they blended and complimented each other so well. Welcome back to doing something with Band-Maid. I hope you continue with both bands. That being said and you asked if there is something you need to do from either band. You will need to do "Forbidden Tale" from Band-Maid's brand new album "Epic Narratives". Talk about a epic tale of a song... You will love breaking down "Forbidden Tale". And I would definitely be looking forward to you reaction.

Both bands modified their styles for this collaboration. They sort of met in the middle. Vocals for both singers were a bit higher pitch in my mind. Love this one.

Totally agree that this was a blast. Just two groups that wanted to have some fun together. Watching the fan footage of the live performance of the song really drives home the point that it was a collaboration not a competition. There is still one version of that with the promotional footage mixed in with the fan cam available if you look, but definitely do not try to react to it. But it is cool to hear Dany do that awesome note to start the song love and completely nail it. Also have to echo the calls to check out the interview of all 8 on Billboard-japan, the Dany/Kanami PRS interview, and the vlog on The Warning's channel, all worth it. If you're asking for suggestions, I would have to go with the newer version of Dust to Dust from the Pepsi Center 2023. Pretty sure you already reacted to it, but this version has an extended outro and leads immediately into Dull Knives and man does it work so well. Also Survive is a great choice from Pepsi Center or Teatro Metropolitan.

I like to say this wasn't a collaboration, but the formation of a new supergroup. it sounded like they had been playing with each other for years. each one got some time to shine, but it wasn't so much that it made a mess like some collaborations turn out. mutual respect and admiration for each other and the music. this is the gold standard for how collaborations should be done.

Band Maid do have quite a few songs with effects on Saiki's voice, usually the radio/megaphone effect. Not for the whole song but just enough for a contrast, 'Secret My Lips' is the first that springs to mind.

Great reaction. Kanami writes all of Band Maid's music and wrote this song with The Warning in mind. She is a genius songwriter and a very underrated guitarist. She can blaze but always thinks of the integrity of the song first. Rock on 🤘

Kanami deliberately wrote this so both vocalists were singing at a higher pitch than they usually do. I read somewhere that Saiki called her a sadist and Dany didn't correct her.

As a Band-Maid and The Warning fan since 2017 and 2018, respectively, this collaboration was worth the wait. These different bands did a great job collaborating and merging their music styles to create this song. Kanami did a fantastic job writing a song that would work for the two bands. Kanami wrote the song with The Warning in mind and included their input. Pau and Dany have said in interviews that Band-Maid songs are fast. So, I was jubilant and surprised to see a Band-Maid reaction after over two years. And found out it was only because of The Warning. I noticed other bands you have also stopped reacting to these past two years. I was shocked to discover why you stopped listening to Band-Maid; they are "dry." I am still trying to understand this, especially in Japan, where Band-Maid is highly regarded, having one of the best songwriters, vocalists, and three of the best female musicians in the rock and metal community. I hope you will continue reacting to and introducing The Warning to your viewers, which will help expand their listener base.

I note the pitches but do not really think their vocal timbres are that close to the same - or would "sharper" or "more piercing" and "smoother" not apply to timbre? I may be using the term wrong...maybe it is because Dani's basic register is just a little lower than BandMaid's singer's, again if I am not wrong
