THe 11 year old concert version (This one) and the 12 year old concert version... are completely different and completely spectacular. I prefer the the 12 year old one, but I know many prefer this one. Either way you can't go wrong. :) On and if you don't watch "Loving You" from this concert, you are missing something incredible. Wait a second.. what am I Talking about the entire 11 year old and 12 year old concerts are must see's/hear's. lol

Angelina and her band fed energy off each other for this 13 song concert when she was 11 years old. I always say I want a time machine to attend this remarkable concert. This song in particular is my choice for if I could only listen to one song for the remainder of my life.

This whole concert was magic. Lots of trombone work. Any song is good but try Lovin You. It is astonishingly good.

As great as she sings at any age, i'm convinced her voice at 11-12 years were her finest. So many songs she did at this age and all are truly incredible. Never been anyone like her especially when you consider her writing and composing skills. Nice reaction!!

Angelina was on fire for this concert. (And we’re listening to a fan-cam recording.) I never thought there would be competition for Julie London’s great version of Cry Me a River from the 50’s, but Angelina holds her own with ease. At this same concert, we can hear Angelina’s truly incredible upbeat cover of “Lovin’ You”, with a shorter trombone solo and more horns from this terrific band behind her. You would love this whole concert. The trombone has other solos as well, AND this Norwegian Jazz Band does a whole set before Angelina even comes on stage before her first song! All of the songs she does here are outstanding, probably my favorite is Diamonds Are Forever. Hard to believe that beautiful voice is coming from an eleven year old!

This performance by an 11 yo Angelina, is my favorite version of this classic song by anyone, period. I can't imagine what the talent show was like at her Elementary School in Norway. Just imagine how good this would sound if it was professionally recorded instead of just a fan video. She recorded this professionally (also at 11 yo) on her 1st album "It's Magic" along with Norway's Military Band, so the audio is better than this, but this concert version is slow, smooth, sophisticated jazz at it's finest, Imo.

Yes, the range of both the trombone and the cello match really well with the human voice, and especially with Angelina's. That's one reason the bone works so well here, and why the cello sounds so good in "Million Miles." Now you really need to check out the rest of this concert (the 2017 "Proysenfestivalen"). Sigurd Evensen (the trombonist) is spectacularly good on every track. His effortless runs and lip trills leave me in awe, like Angelina's performances typically do. But this concert was special because the ensemble worked so well with her. All are wonderful musicians (even though AJ was only 11 at the time).

Sir, the whole ensemble was in very good spirits (mood), at the end of this concert the bandleader and Miss Angelina did a "High 5". Also, Miss Angelina is used to arrange the songs for the whole band, you, dear Sir, can bet she knew how good her friend at the trombone is, so she surely arranged this for him. I quite agree with you: this is definitely a brilliant ensemble rendition (I sometimes think that with all our love of Angelina's singing the top-notch musicians who play with her can be a bit underestimated)... Angelina is fantastic and this is one my favourites of hers; her band is superb too and the trombone in particular so beautifully played...this was a great concert when (incredibly) she was just 11...

The band is very good, trombone to the stars and they accompany who? An 11 year old girl!!! Who offers a terrifying interpretation of this jazz masterpiece, personal opinion, there is no singer who within the age of 25 can only approach Angelina in jazz, in the same concert she performs "Diamonds are forever" .. unsurpassed. I have said so many times I have said usually to a reactor new to Angelina ..that they never can understand Angelina from a couple of songs because she never shows it all in one song. Because it is about the music not her ego. Unlike someone like Ariana Grande who wants to run for the hills. Angelina is musically discriminating. It has been said that even as a child she respected the musicians and that is why they love her.

I believe all the best Norwegian musicians - especially those that play jazz - have been willing, even eager, to perform with Angelina from the day they realized she existed (her stint in NGT at 7 and 8). Have any of you heard an Angelina performance with mediocre musicians, in any genre?

Yes, the band rehearsal with the wild looking/acting conductor. Another one was an outdoor meeting when the elderly man wandered up on the stage while she was singing. That even scared me! However, our young Miss Angelina kept her cool.

Finally..I've been waiting years to find someone who appreciates this trombone effort as much as I do. Your analysis goes a long way in telling what my ears hear down to the Ensemble effect on the total piece. (the conversation). I notice Angelina removing her ear piece monitors when she listening to the trombone solo. Omg! You absolutely touched up on all my thoughts as the trombone and all the other background..or rather complementary sounds all blended together. Who could ask for more? My favorite AJ song is her 10 year old version of "Back to Black" with her very own rewrite of the lyrics, because her mother told her she was too young to sing Amy Winehouse's words, so if she wanted to record it, she'd have to redo much of it, and she does!
