I saw them live in Birmingham (UK) about a month ago and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to. Yeah I was definitely apprehensive when I heard about the various lineup changes over the years, especially of course the departure of all the original singers but I honestly didn't let that stop me from having a great experience. I got photos with the band and I got my mask signed by Jackie Laponza and Joe Gaal. I honestly couldn't have asked for a more awesome experience.

Mushroomhead and Slipknot played some shows together back in early 2000’s or so, and Corey said that Slipknot had a hard time doin’ shows with Mushroomhead because of the Mushroomhead fans booin’ Slipknot. However, Corey added that the bands (Slipknot and Mushroomhead) were cool with each other and that it was their fans creatin’ the tension

DeadWire makes a great suggestion in Solitaire Unraveling for an older song and video. Qwerty would make an interesting reaction video lol, and from some newer stuff, The Heresy is pretty damn cool. I've listened to these guys since their 1st album, through all their lineup changes, and I'm still a big fan. I actually like Jackie's vocals in the mix on new stuff.

any comments you read from people saying listen to the old stuff its better are stuck in the past. all bands must adapt and change with time. if their old crap was that much better they would have had a better record deal. but no Skinny turned down Roadrunner deal that went to Slipknot 3 or 5 years later.

I think Solitaire Unraveling is probably their breakout song that gives you a taste of the vocal strength without being overwhelming...

This was a bad choice for a first time hearing of Mushroomhead. None of the original vocalists are in the band anymore. The best song to check out from them is Solitaire Unraveling or Simple Survival.

Tbf, none of the people that left were writers for the band. It's always been Steve. It's his band and everyone else is just people he wants to be in his band. This song is just another strong mushroomhead song. Jackie has been working with them forever for ages and she definitely benefits the band. Jeff would never come back because he's having a bit of a spiritual crisis. The new guy sounds almost exactly like Jeff. Bands change over time. Especially a 35 year old band.
