Music Technology Class Assignment - Adding Sound to "How To Train Your Dragon"

Credits: Video (not sound) excerpt taken from How to Train Your Dragon I (Movie - 2010). My son, Benjamin, took a Music Technology class this semester and his final project was to create sounds and music to go along with a video. He chose the “Learning to Fly” scene from How to Train Your Dragon (2010). He put the video into a program called Logic which separated out the video file from the audio file. Although he closely followed the actual audio track as a guide, he re-created all the sounds from scratch using his Yamaha EZ-220 keyboard, AI for voices, flapping a sheet of paper, racking an unloaded gun, and also downloaded sounds from the internet. He overlaid the various sounds to exactly sync up with the video using the Logic Program. I have always loved hearing my son play the piano, and seeing the product of this music assignment makes me happy! Nice work, son.
Full credit for video goes to the makers of the Movie "How To Train Your Dragon." It is a wonderful movie with amazing story line and both my sons loved watching it while they grew up.
