Oh well "Orthodoxia" is most likely a creative twist to the word "Orthodox" -- one of the meanings of Orthodox means for someone to have traditional religious beliefs!
I think he knew he was a false prophet all along. He was using people’s devotion as a way to become rich and lied to them about being able to speak to god. From the beginning he said he lives by trampling on peoples misfortunes. So he is aware that people cling to religion in times of misfortune and using that to his advantage. Although, your interpretation is very interesting and just as valid as my own :)
that's a very cool theory! I think the "give your arms" means "you cant reach out for help" so maybe in this scenario the believers try to join arms with god to help them with the situation, but they cant since they gave their arms to the priest?

I LOVE THE BACKING BY LEN. nobody ever uses len's deeper voice banks and it makes me really happy to hear it used even if it isn't the primary voice bank. it adds contrast to una's high pitched voice, and i can definitely concur that the song would feel way more empty if it didn't have the backing. the way una is tuned in schaudenfreude compared to this song makes it seem like two different vocaloids, which really show's guchiry's tuning talent! keep up the good work

God, this is honestly such a GREAT fucking insight on the actual music, SO true!
so from what i understand, this song is about tadashi, the leader of a "religion", who made up this huge story about said religion, causing people to believe in the religion. he is fully aware that it isnt true, and uses the people's belief in it to his advantage. he takes their offerings as his own, and uses them for his own benefit. eventually, the people find out about this, and execute him (?) it looks like he was set on fire and/or crucified? also, i think the lady from guchiri's recent song (vanish) is in there too !!
@keriis2 жыл бұрын
okay so, i think the lady is actually from astrea's disappointment (is that the title?), however it's possible she's in both songs

I think the girl at the end is Astraea (it also says in the credits) whose from the song Astraea’s Disappointment. Luchika (idk if that’s her actual name or just a fan name) is from Vanish. The Lyrics in english: "The Scriptures (Fifteen Clauses of Orthodox Teachings)" One, God’s great grace is given to those who are completely faithful Two, only the high priest is permitted to take God's name in vain Three, those who do harm to God's messenger, the high priest, will be expelled Four, it is the high priest who is the rightful successor to God’s will Five, God’s teachings are the divine providence of this world Six, to disobey God is to deviate from Paradise Seven, to harbor doubts about God is to suffer the disintegration of thought Eight, to blaspheme God is to deny one's own existence Nine, God sees, but He never saves Ten, God listens, but He never speaks Eleven, God knows, but He never teaches Twelve, the entire Word of God is passed down through His oracle, the high priest Thirteen, God’s aims are the aims of the world Fourteen, God and the high priest shall be regarded as one and the same Fifteen, God is absolute He said, “Miracles do happen, salvation will be given to those who believe.” Just pray with all your heart, pray by yourself, with all your heart Lift your voice up, offer up your efforts, and devote your tongue as you pray to the Lord You wish and wish, all for a life so that you may return home? It’s the march of the blind believers, they flock together and go Everyone, everybody, they’re seeking a “life” That which is “correct” is secondary, or maybe quinary Their selfish desires are, you see, their justification But were the withered trees too restored by a miracle? It’s all nothing but ridiculous tall tales It's not as if such things exist Now see, I lied once again I take people’s lives away, devouring even their wishes I’ve been living by trampling on the misfortune of others The world was not such a wonderful place after all! If you flatter your idol, then your life will be saved There is no such thing as correct teachings! "They were all faithful to false idols." "Their figures were akin to constructed kings." "Although they say 'the taste of others’ misfortune is sweet like honey,' I know of no human who sipped as much sweet honey as he." "I wonder if you could call his nature 'psychopathic,' so to speak." Written by XXX, quoted from "Conspiracy Theory" He said, “Things such as miracles are just fiction, after all, it’s all just lies.” Even so, just pray with all of your heart, pray by yourself, with all your heart Devote your body, devote your heart, give everything you’ve got as you pray to the Lord They’re full of jealousy. They spend their lives drowning, sinking in greed It’s the march of blind believers, they flock together and go Everyone, everybody, they're seeking a "life" What is “correct” is whatever someone deigns it to be Self-sacrifice is not their new justification But were the dried-up seas (lakes) too restored by a miracle? It’s all nothing but idealistic thoughts that came to mind Even so, you misunderstand the things you believe in I can't stop my voice anymore! It’s the rebellion of the fanatics, they flock together and go Everybody and everyone, they flock together and die The saints incite the masses by reciting the scriptures and chanting, "Everybody, pray to the Lord!" It’s the rebellion of the fanatics, they flock together and go Everybody and everyone, they flock together and die At the rampage of the believers, the clown laughs, “Look! It’s hideous, isn’t it?” I take people’s lives away, devouring even their wishes I’ve been living by trampling on the misfortune of others People aren't such wonderful things after all! Even if you flatter your idol, your life will not be saved There is no such thing as correct teachings! "If it weren’t for his greed and arrogance, he could've been a man of brilliant character." "Unlike those unhappy individuals who wish for reincarnation, his believers desired happiness in this world." "From the particulars of its establishment up to its scriptures, it is a truly perfunctory pseudo-religion." "In his last moments, I honestly felt sorry for him. I heard that it was quite gruesome." Mr. XXX, in a certain interview Written by XXX, quoted from “Conspiracy Theory” I covet people’s lives, devouring everything they have I’ve been living by trampling on the misfortune of others “Was love, too, not such a wonderful thing after all”? Whose mouth spoke such? What a hypocrite! I take people’s lives away, devouring even their wishes I’ve been living by trampling on the misfortune of others Well, the present situation, too, is the bed I made and now must lie in If you flatter your idol, then your life will be saved An equally worthless, unrewarded life It’s an unsightly, foolish, beautiful life There is no such thing as correct teachings!
