How exactly do you focus when you're shooting with Lonin? I also use the S1 camera, but it's very hard to focus in a gimbal situation. Do you have any know-how?

Exactly what @Ayb said. Set the focus to the middle point of the distance you're shooting at! It's a pain, but shooting in manual focus opposed to auto focus all the time will 100% make you a better shooter. It takes time but practice makes perfect!
