I hope someone can help me out. I’m wondering what the name of the march that the band is playing in the background before Mt Carmel begins their performance. I’m a retired band director and I’ve never heard it before. If anyone knows the name of that march please let me know. Thank you

@@Music213 Oh my!! Thank you so much for letting me know. Since I retired back home here in East Texas there are still quite a few “Military Style” traditional marching bands in the area and I’m an advisor to many of them and I am always looking for and suggesting that they play marches that are different. So many of the guys just recycle the same ones and marches such as Shewsbury would be a great change of pace to put on the field. I’ll keep looking for others. Thank you again!

This band would do a GREAT job with a couple of my favorite marches....."Punjaub March", a British march by Charles Payne or "Per Aspera Ad Astra", a German march by Ernst Urbach. I'm sure they could handle both of them nicely.

new look is right...I'm probably too old-fashioned, but I like the "military" look-I see this, and I wish for some white shoes..I like to see the feet moving in unison, which, I suppose, would make it easier to see errors.....just too "modern" to me...

Take a look at Arcadia’s 2021 auxiliary unit and I swear those uniforms were the same. I think it looks great on MC but not Arcadia….

Outstanding musicianship and parade marching has been a long standing tradition as far as I can remember(late 80's)...Band sounded full and rich; uniforms were updated but could maybe add some spats!? Flag and I.D. Units didn't excite...like the flag design but uniforms look dated.(remind me of old Diamond Bar guard dresses...ugh).
