the irony is... Hikari played during our battle with Qu, During that time Qu is our enemy with green themed appearance... and then lucia got new ice frame which she use to battle Qu with the price of losing her self, losing her memories and ended become somewhat like new individual and this song, which contain also contain hikari... > > > > > > > is a theme song for Qu using her new ice frame to fight a green themed robot called KING who is destroying her country... and in the end her country ended up being destroyed and she is forced to walk on a new path with her country being destroyed and her frame called Shukra which means clear/ bright in sanskrit which can be associated with hikari/ lucia (lucia and hikari means light)
@ksksosbsbdv11 ай бұрын
there is also ayla, an ice frame, fighting 'qu' with hikari playing as bgm (and her patch's theme also contains hikari)

Honestly listening to this made me a bit teary eyed. PGR's story was there for me in a very dark time of my life and OG Hikari playing during Lucia's stand against Qu was so iconic, and this just hit me with so much love and nostalgia. The 'flaws' you mention make it feel so human, and genuinely this made me feel emotions I didn't know I needed to feel.

Marco, my man. This wasn't cringe. This was epic. ✨ There are far more cringe things on the internet that sometimes I have to question myself: "What the hell I am watching?" 😂 But in all seriousness, this was epic. The reaction was honest and I loved it. This Classical type of Hikari is a fresh, inspiring track that motivates one to rise from ashes - be reborn again and claim what was originally yours! I get that feeling. Quite well correlates with the story as well. This Hikari gives me the feeling that I am a fallen warrior who has been shored out from the sea from the clutches of evil. And now is the test of time to unshackle oneself from old chains and return to the heart of chaos and claim what was one's mine, no, OURS! "I MUST FIGHT! FOR KAWLONG" Augh.... dears were dropping hearing this again. Always does. It's beautiful. I feel like I can break mountains hearing this.🥲 P.s. I'm also hyped for Wuthering Waves. I beg to God that they clutch it and get a place in the market. The game looks phenomenal and from what I heard (some hint of music) it's gonna full of everything. 🙏

This definitely one of so many tracks in PGR where it's magnificent even without context as it already tells a story. But godly when you know the context. Tony Yan is such a vital composer for Vanguard Sound as I think, he's the best when it comes to orchestral pieces like this. It's to balance the exhilarating music of PGR EDMs from great composers like ghostfinal, etc. Glad you analyzed yet another great PGR song! I've been itching to hear you review literally everything from that awesome game. Also, I think you'd love Ayla Kaleido's patch. It tackles the meaning of art and is art can only be born out of the human mind. Timely especially with the current zeitgeist of AI art vs Human art. With that being said. We PGR fans are patient and I hope you enter the CBT2 for Wuthering Waves. They need feedback from someone like you. Great video as always!

Always love to hear you dissect PGR's music. Vanguard sound always manages to bring that feeling of sheer humanity lying within ourselves, trying desperately to survive in a universe which doesn't care about us, while at the same time giving you an insight to each character's specific emotions. I'm addicted to each track of this game and can't wait for Crimson Weave Lucia to hit global next month!
@garderules239810 ай бұрын
Kinda late to this but what i really love about this song in particular is something you mentioned in previous videos about the male vocals not always being put in a bright light and related to big ominous presences, (some evil some not). I thought that was the case again with 5:12 sounding like an enemy army, an unstoppable force marching towards our land to destroy and conquer it. Then the tone shifts and now the low brasses follow the same rhythm as the chanting to remind you that danger is approaching. When the female vocals appear at 9:44 to me it symbolizes hope, hope that maybe we can overcome this dire situation we are facing. But, as always, leave it to VGS 🐐 (and Tony Yan) to subvert our expectations once again, bringing back the ominous chanting voices we heard earlier but now transformed into something truly GLORIOUS and BEAUTIFUL symbolizing not only strength and power but, in context, the unyielding conviction and determination of Qu and her people to protect their land or die trying, truly embodying the Will of Kowloong.

Absolutely love the orchestrated version of HIKARI, and it keeps reminding me of the Kingdom Hearts franchise with the piano an strings. Something about it screams Yoko Shimomura to me, which I'm all for as I love her work. Also I know other have mentioned it, but I would live to see you look into "In my memory" from the newest patch. Its a beautiful track and as some put it a call back to the trance sound. Honestly, the "special " version they use in the boss fight for the vocal drop is comparable to the rules of nature drop for how powerful it is in the moment imo.

As someone who hardly understands pgr’s story this song evokes such a visceral and emotional response in me. The low reflective like state of the opening making you think “Did this character lose something extremely important to them?” Then the build up “No I haven’t lost it yet!” Then the high orchestral singing and battle music going “I will fight to get it back!!!”. Cringe feeling but a good one nonetheless

The hikari motif every so often in the back of a looping track that's already very in the background, it feels like its saying that we've moved past both the good and bad things that have happened, yet they are always there in the back pushing us forward. That feels incredible to hear in the context of what I think is going on in the story, it feels unreal that we've even survived to this point in the story

Like you already covered Last Resort, Under Dimension and others but what came after this is also mind blowing. New tracks are so complex and emotional its unbelievable. This track, In My Memory, Infinite Gallery, Shattered Doll (!!!). They even had a collab with KEIKI KOBAYASHI of all people for the previous patch on global bringing Ace Combat 7 sound to PGR.
